Christopher Treacy has been fascinated with music since his parents bought him a record player at 3 and took him to see The Carpenters when he was 5. He has spent the last twenty years in and around music journalism and publicity, contributing to the Boston Phoenix, Nashville Scene, American Songwriter, Orlando Weekly, Hartford Advocate and Berklee College of Music’s quarterly journal along the way. For several years, he was the lead music critic at the Boston Herald. In 2016, he became Publisher of Buffalo’s LGBTQ+ magazine, Loop. Most recently, was named Managing Editor at Country Queer. Chris accepted a position at Reybee in 2022 to utilize his editorial experience in a new way and expand his understanding of music publicity in today’s ever-shifting market.
