NEW YORK, NY - In their continued outpouring of generosity and compassion for the ongoing relief efforts toward the rebuilding of post-quake Haiti as well as the post-Katrina New Orleans, UK ska legends THE ENGLISH BEAT and their US brothers-in-arms FISHBONE have announced a concert in New Orleans where proceeds will be split between Doctors Without Borders (Haiti) and Habitat for Humanity (New Orleans).

The concert will take place at:

Monday, February 15th
House of Blues - NOLA
225 Decatur St.
New Orleans, LA 70130
  (504) 310–4999
Tickets: $20
Doors 8pm / Showtime: 9pm

"I'm particularly glad to be doing this benefit," said English Beat frontman Dave Wakeling. "It is no surprise that we have heard a huge outpouring of concern for Haiti from our friends in New Orleans. That's why I'd like to split the proceeds between Doctors Without Borders in Haiti, and Habitat for Humanity in New Orleans. It's a perfect way to get warmed up for Mardi Gras - one hand washes the other!" The English Beat has astoundingly raised well over $12,000 with their recent benefit concerts for Haiti in San Francisco and Los Angeles in January.
